If you are a PBS or other Public Television station interested in expanding your election programming, the DMEF has created and sponsored several television programs in the 2002 Election seasons in partnership with KBDI-TV Channel 12 -- Colorado Public Television.
Some DMEF-sponsored television programs are available on this Web site. Others may be found on an affiliated Web site – www.HarberTV.com . As a public service, the DMEF also will provide VHS copies of any of its sponsored election-related programming to any Public Television station in the United States. Simply send your request to us and we will process it within 24 hours of receipt.
The DMEF also will provide consulting, at no charge, to any Public Television station seeking its assistance. Consultation can be done via any combination of telephone, FAX, e-mail, physical documentation (i.e., via shipping) or on-site support. Please contact the DMEF directly to discuss what services would be helpful to your Public Television station for election-related programming.
If you represent or are affiliated with a Public Television station and there are election-related resources which you would find helpful but which are not offered by the DMEF, please contact us with your suggestions. We are interested in providing a wide range of support for Public Television stations seeking to develop, create, implement, and broadcast creative election-related programming which will increase voters' awareness and knowledge of issues and candidates -- all in the face of the torrent of commercial advertising which they endure.
